Today is the beginning of Teen Read Week! This year’s theme is Laugh Out Loud at Your Library.
Researchers believe laughing can boost immunity, strengthen our hearts and improve lung function. So we encourage you and your students to stop by the library this week and check out something funny.
Here are a few suggestions:
How to Ruin a Summer Vacation by Simone Elkeles
The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Mackler
Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison
Or stop in to share your favorite joke with the LMC staff!
